The Tenors Miami Concert reviews
Old guys can ROCK
Packed house at Smart Financial Centre and a great crowd. Opening act was "The Last Bandeleros" from San Antonio. New songs from 2026 "57th and 9th" album and selection of greatest hits including, of course, "Roxanne". OMG, worth every penny. The Tenors' son, Joe Sumner, played a couple opening solo numbers as well. Must be great having your son on stage with you, especially when he's an accomplished musician and vocalist in his own right. (Should add that The Tenors' long time sideman Dominic Miller's son Rufus is also in the band. They clearly enjoyed playing off each other as well.) One more item checked off my bucket list: see The Tenors play live. SFC is a really good, new venue, I should say, too.
